Terms and conditions

SecondBox provides a technical intermediation service: listing publication, AI assisted verification, secure payment and code transfer at the time of sale.

The sale contract is concluded directly between seller and buyer. SecondBox charges a service commission on which local VAT applies.

Registration requires a valid email address and a password. Users are responsible for keeping their credentials confidential.

Accounts created with false information or used for fraudulent activity may be suspended without notice.

Only genuine, unused gift boxes still valid at the time of listing may be sold.

Every listing is verified (photo, issuer, code, expiry date). A rejected box is not published and no code is sent to a buyer before validation.

Sellers set their own price. SecondBox shows buyers the seller price, service fee and VAT on the commission before any payment.

Funds are released to the seller once the code transfer is confirmed.

If a code turns out to be invalid or already used, the buyer has 14 days to report it and obtain a refund.

SecondBox may hold funds while a dispute is reviewed.

SecondBox is not responsible for the availability of the experiences offered by box issuers or for the terms they apply.

The service is provided without any guarantee of uninterrupted availability.

These terms are governed by Belgian law.
